Diving in the North East of Malta at dive site Paradise Bay

Name divesite: Paradise Bay
Depth: 10-30m (32-98ft)
Visibility: 10-35m (32-114ft)
Accessibility: Shore
Time to visit: All year around with warmest water in summer (apr-aug)
Specifications: Diving next to a huge vertical wall of coral. This dive has a lot of marine life. This is a deep dive, plan it well.

Paradise Bay consists out of a lime stone reef with many rocks. It is an extension of the same reef wall near the Madonna, but without the amount of divers. Entering across the rocks is tricky and care should be taken when climbing across those wet and slippery fossiled rocks. Shoals of chromis, tuna and barracuda are often seen. Morays, scorpion fish, and many juvenile fish can be found in the shallows. Be careful for fishing areas as well. It is not nice to have a hook in your but.
