To the west of Comino south of the small island Cominotto is a spectacular cave dive named Alex Cave (after a local diver who probably discovered it) or Cominotto Cave. It is 40 meter long L-shaped cave which is only for experienced divers as we won't see its entrance during the whole dive. At the back of the cave it is possible to surface to natural light through a small chimney. But there is more. To the left outside the cave is a steep drop-off and a huge arch. It is also possible to combine this dive with Crystal lagoon. With your torch you can see many colorful orange shrimp, hermit crabs, eels, morays and octopus.
