In the summer months this rocky coast line is very popular for swimming for both Maltese and international tourists. It is also a very busy water sports area, so if you dive here you must be very careful of speedboats and always use a dive buoy. Parking near the shore line is a problem in the summer months when it gets very crowded.
There are a number of shore dive sites accessible from the rocky shore line off Tower Road Sliema. Fortizza, Qui Si Sana, Exciles, to name a few.
