A beautiful dive and snorkel site in one of the nicest lagoons Malta has to offer. The water is crystal clear in the nicest turquoise colors. Its dive conditions are perfect as it is an easy, shallow and sheltered dive site. You can dive into a with boulders covered tunnel which goes west into the land and back for about 30 meters. The tunnel itself doesn't houses many fish but is a beautiful experience and the light fall of the lagoon and tunnel are brilliant.
It is a perfect location for photographers because of the white sand and its reflecting sunrays which provide for ideal under water light. The lagoon is a perfect breeding ground where many small baby fish such as young barracudas are found. Other fish such as several types of bream are waiting to be fed by divers and boat tourists. Other marine life such as octopus, flounders, cuttlefish and gobies can be found across the sea grass.
