An enormous rock which looks like an elephant head creates the dive site Elephant Rock of Santa Marija Tunnel here in the northeast of Comino. This quiet dive site has some excellent boulders, rock formations and swimthroughs which have been created by rocks on top of each other. There is a cave at 6 meters deep which can be entered by experienced divers for more than 30 meters into the headland. Or you can just dive more offshore into deeper waters. It is shallow with many fish including bigger species such as groupers. In one word it is a nice dive site with a lot of variety.
