On the right side of Qawra point is a small sheltered bay. It is mostly used for swimming, but it is also a great place for confined water training sessions and exercises.

The depth is between 2 and 10m and the bottom is made up of sand and grass patches. Being a sheltered bay, lots of small marine creatures use this area as a nursing ground. Small fish like blennies, scorpions, weavers, wrasses, sardines are easily seen. Also cuttle fish and sea hares are common here.

WARNINGS: Use an SMB and watch out for swimmers, boats and jet skies.
