The north of Malta is extremely crowded with dive boats, training dives and other boat tours. Marfa Point and Cirkewwa where the Tugboat Rozy is located, together with the Blue Hole in Gozo will count as the best dive sites in Malta. But diving is also done near Mellieha Bay, which are together with Qawra and St Pauls the top tourist paradises mainly because of its white beaches. Diving in the North of Malta is well developed and will make your holiday an experience never to forget.

The scenery of North Malta is beautiful and includes valleys and terraced hills which have been cultivated for years. There are rolling hillsides, remote swimming coves and excellent walking trails. Mellieha Bay, Qawra and St Pauls are tourist destinations packed with resorts, activities and tourist agencies. There are long stretches of brilliant white and golden beaches and all sorts of water sport you can think of. Summer holidays are exceptional crowded so try to prevent these unless you are only there for the partying and sunbathing. If diving or snorkelling is your prime concern, it is better to go just before or after the high season.

Northern Malta is a great place to go with some phenomenal dive sites, very entertaining night life and resorts with beaches you have ever dreamed of. The underwater settings are exceptional healthy and vivid for waters this cold in the center of the Mediterranean Sea.
